TOday's Announcements

Here are a few critical announcements to keep in mind:

Members' Meeting

All covenant members (and those in process) are invited to join us for our biannual Members' Meeting!  Please find the details below:

When is it?  After the service on Sunday, March 6th from 12:30-2:00pm.  (Note: There will be an optional Q&A afterwards for any who'd like to participate.)
Where is it?  We'll meet outside at the picnic tables in the pavilion around the back of Allen at Steinbeck Elementary where we hold the services.
What about lunch?  There will be a free sandwich lunch available (from Jersey Mike's) for any who RSVP.  If you have certain food allergies or prefer something else, we ask that you please secure that yourself.  Sorry!
What about kids?  Kids are welcome too, of course, though you should know that we currently do not plan to have childcare.  They will need to be under your supervision during the meeting.  (Note: There is a playground right off of our meeting space they can use if you'd like.)

Covenant members will receive a separate link to RSVP, please be sure to do so!  If you are not currently a covenant member, but are interested in becoming one, you can read more about the process here!

Mercy Hill Men's Study!

Last year a small group of men went through the book of Titus.  This year let's do Isaiah!   But not the whole book—just chapters 40 through 44 over eight weeks.  There is a little homework involved in this study.  We are planning to meet from 7:00-9:00pm on Thursday evenings via Zoom.

Mercy Hill Kids - Online Today . . . In-Person Next Week!

SPECIAL NOTE: Talking with parents, we decided to move all of February classes online and we'll be re-launching the in-person classes on the first Sunday of March.  That's NEXT WEEK.  Mark your calendars and come join us!

TODAY'S CLASS: ONLINE

Both Preschool and Elementary children (2.5 years thru 5th grade) will be meeting at 11:45am via the Zoom.  Click here for the link.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Note: Even on the weeks that we don't offer in-person instruction for your children, they are more than welcome to come to the church and join with you in the service.  We will always have available "Sermon Notes for Kids" worksheets and pre-packaged crayons for them to make use of. Our Sunday Services will likely end around 11:30am.  This should give you time to join us in-person and then still get home to get those kids online!

Mercy Hill Kids - Calling All Volunteers!

As we look to ramp back up our in-person kids ministry in March, we'd love it if you'd prayerfully consider joining the team. Your involvement would allow us to do more. We see ourselves as missionaries sent by God to these kids. What a great pleasure and privilege it is to play a part in reaching them with the good news of Jesus!

Sunday Prayer Walk - TODAY!

We will be gathering after service today at 1:00pm to do a prayer walk in the local neighborhood! So grab lunch after the service, and consider joining us to pray for our neighboring community, as we hope to have the opportunity to share the gospel with those who are open and ready to engage. We'll have a brief time before the prayer walk to discuss what to pray for, so we invite anyone regardless of experience to join and learn.

Join a Home Group!

Home Groups are the heartbeat of our church.  They are the place where our values of Faith, Community, and Mission gain traction in the everyday.  Our hope is to have "everyone in one"!

Find a group to join here.  You are not alone!

Mercy Hill Kids

While difficult, this pandemic does create a wonderful chance for parents to step towards their God-given call as chief disciplers of their kids.  We know this may feel overwhelming and that is why we want to help!  Every Sunday we have something for your kids, either in-person or online.  You can check our church calendar to see what's happening on a particular date.  We'd love to have you join us!

If you have any questions or need help in any way, don't hesitate to reach out to Christina at

Have a Wonderful Week!
