"Jesus said to them again, 'Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.'" - John 20:21
At Mercy Hill we believe that every saint is sent—that every Christian is a missionary of God. Unfortunately though, too often in the church we find that it is not “every saint sent” but “every saint stagnant.” May this not be the case with us! We agree with Charles Spurgeon on the matter: "If there be any one point in which the Christian church ought to keep its fervor at a white heat, it is concerning missions. If there be anything about which we cannot tolerate lukewarmness, it is in the matter of sending the gospel to a dying world."
God is sending each of us with the gospel into this city and world. He has a purpose, a mission, for us. Where and to whom is God sending you?

We see in Scripture how God organizes the Jewish calendar in such a way so as to reiterate redemptive realities and stimulate worship and godly living. One example is Numbers 28-29 where God outlines the sorts of sacrifices that ought to be offered and when. He has prescriptions for daily sacrifices, weekly sacrifices, monthly sacrifices, and even quarterly and annual sacrifices. The example here invites us to think of our own calendars in a similar way. With regard to our concern for missions, we thought it best to consider it from the perspective of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual rhythms. Here are just a few of the more notable rhythms we are trying to establish in our church’s life and culture . . .
"And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'" - Matthew 28:18–20
One of the ways we promote an "every saint sent" missionary lifestyle among our members is by forging strategic partnerships with other ministries on mission in our city and around the world. Here are a few we are currently partnering with . . .
