Here are a few critical announcements to keep in mind:
Resources for Advent!
It sounds crazy to say but Christmas is just around the corner. And that means Advent is already upon us! Every Advent we encourage you to try your best to push back against the hurry and stress that so often characterize this season and instead make time to reflect on what it's really all about. Easier said than done! But if you'd like some help along the way, we've got you! Below you'll find some of our recommended Advent devotionals and resources. Everything you'll find here is designed to help you keep the main thing the main thing this Christmas. Enjoy!
Good News of Great Joy (John Piper)
Gospel in Life Advent Devotional (Tim & Kathy Keller)
Christ Our Hope (David Platt)
The Weary World Rejoices (The Gospel Coalition)
Advent Word Series (The Bible Project)

Christmas Gifts for Allen School Children
We have an opportunity to bless families from Allen at Steinbeck School who are struggling financially. Parents of 21 students have asked for assistance, and we'd like to rally together to provide either gift cards or wrapped gifts for them to enjoy this Christmas. Volunteers from Mercy Hill will deliver these gifts to the families during the week of Christmas. Be sure to leave room in your budget for this. More info coming soon!
Foster the City - With Us Next Week!
Philip Pattison, Executive Director of Foster the City (formerly Foster the Bay), will be preaching for our service next Sunday, December 5th. We love this ministry and all that they are doing in the Bay Area and beyond. If you are in town, you won't want to miss it!
Mercy Hill Kids - Online Today!
Due to the pandemic and the varying comfort levels each family has with their kids attending class in-person, we have established a rhythm for Mercy Hill Kids that allows for both online and in-person worship. On the first and third Sundays of each month, Mercy Hill Kids has in-person instruction for Preschool and Elementary children (2.5 years thru 5th grade). On the off-weeks, Mercy Hill Kids meets online.
Today's class is ONLINE. It begins at 11:45am. Go here to read more and to find a link to sign in!
For more information, please contact Christina Lugo at .
Sunday Prayer Walk - Today!
We will be gathering after service toady at 1:00pm to do a prayer walk in the local neighborhood! So grab lunch after the service, and consider joining us to pray for our neighboring community, as we hope to have the opportunity to share the gospel with those who are open and ready to engage. We'll have a brief time before the prayer walk to discuss what to pray for, so we invite anyone regardless of experience to join and learn.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Chris Keener at .
Deacon Installation: Bob & Becky Durstenfeld
It is our pleasure to announce that Bob & Becky Durstenfeld are today officially being installed as deacons of Mercy Hill Church. They are heading up Mercy Hill's GO! Team which exists to spur our church outward on mission for Jesus in our city and world. We can say with confidence that few couples in this valley have more heart and experience suited for this kind of ministry work. What a blessing they are to our church and to so many!
Home Groups
Home Groups are the heartbeat of our church. They are the place where our values of Faith, Community, and Mission gain traction in the everyday. Our hope is to have "everyone in one"!
Find a group to join here. You are not alone!
