This Is Amazing Grace

Who breaks the power of sin and darkness
Whose love is mighty and so much stronger
The King of Glory, the King above all kings

Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder
Who leaves us breathless in awe and wonder
The King of Glory, the King above all kings

This is amazing grace This is unfailing love
That You would take my place That You would bear my cross
You would lay down Your life That I would be set free
Jesus, I sing for All that You've done for me

Who brings our chaos back into order
Who makes the orphan a son and daughter
The King of Glory, the King above all kings

Who rules the nations with truth and justice
Shines like the sun in all of its brilliance
The King of Glory, the King above all kings

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Worthy is the King who conquered the grave
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Worthy is the King who conquered the grave

TOday's Announcements

Here are a few critical announcements to keep in mind:

  • First Sunday Family Service - Next Week (8/1): As things continue to open up, we've now established a First Sunday Family Service rhythm. While families are certainly welcome to join us in-person every Sunday, on the first Sundays of each month we especially invite our families to prioritize gathering together in-person with the rest of the church body.  Remember, WE NOW HAVE A SEPARATE CLASS FOR THE KIDS!  Children 2.5 years thru 5th grade will have a safe space outside to gather together and learn from God's Word.  They won't want to miss it!  (Please Note: We will NOT have the online zoom class during these First Sunday Family Services.)  To learn more about the in-person Sunday Service, go here.  If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Christina Lugo at  .
  • Mercy Hill Kids Online Worship: Due to the All Church Campout, we will not be having online class today. We'll see you next week for our First Sunday Family Service!  For more information, please contact Christina Lugo at   .
  • After Service BBQ: If you're here with us at Mount Madonna County Park, stick around for a BBQ lunch afterwards!  Let's linger and play all afternoon : )
  • Home Groups: Many of our Home Groups have moved to a hybrid (in-person + virtual) format.  Whatever your comfort level with meeting, you're welcome to come check one out.  Find one to join here.  You are not alone!

Call to Worship

Beautiful

I see Your face in every sunrise
The colors of the morning are inside Your eyes
The world awakens in the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say You're beautiful

I see Your power in the moonlit night
Where planets are in motion and galaxies are bright
We are amazed in the light of the stars
It's all proclaiming who you are You're beautiful

I see you there hanging on a tree
You bled and then you died and then you rose again for me
Now you are sitting on Your heavenly throne
Soon we will be coming home You're beautiful

When we arrive at eternity's shore
Where death is just a memory and tears are no more
We'll enter in as the wedding bells ring
Your bride will come together and we'll sing You're beautiful

Call to Response

1.  Sing:

Build My Life

Worthy of every song we could ever sing
Worthy of all the praise we could ever bring
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe
We live for you

Jesus a name above every other name
Jesus the only one that could ever save
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe
We live for you
We live for you

Holy there is no one like you
There is none beside you
Open up my eyes in wonder
Show me who you are
And fill me with your heart
And lead me in your love
to those around me

I will build my life, upon your love
It is a firm foundation
I will put my trust, in you alone
And I will not be shaken

This Is Amazing Grace

Who breaks the power of sin and darkness
Whose love is mighty and so much stronger
The King of Glory, the King above all kings

Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder
Who leaves us breathless in awe and wonder
The King of Glory, the King above all kings

Anthem

So many reasons - too many to count
To say that I love You - to worship You now
Your love is perfect - and Your heart is kind
I’m Yours forever - forever You’re mine

Jesus, the anthem of my heart
Jesus the anchor of my soul
I’m overwhelmed by all You are
Oh, how I love You

You call me beloved - and You call me friend
Your grace says I’m worthy - You welcome me in
Now all that I long for - and all that I need
Is to be in Your presence - Forever I fall at Your feet

Faithful to the end - God You are always good
Where do I begin - There’s so many reason to love You
Your promise never breaks - Your beauty never fades
What else can I say
There’s so many reasons to love you

Call to Response

1.  Sing:

O Come to the Altar

Are you hurting and broken within
Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin
Jesus is calling
Have you come to the end of yourself
Do you thirst for a drink from the well
Jesus is calling

O come to the altar
The Father’s arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The precious blood of Jesus Christ

Leave behind your regrets and mistakes
Come today there’s no reason to wait - Jesus is calling
Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy
From the ashes a new life is born
Jesus is calling

Oh what a Savior isn’t He wonderful
Sing alleluia, Christ is risen
Bow down before Him for He is Lord of all
Sing alleluia, Christ is risen

Bear your cross as you wait for the crown
Tell the world of the treasure you’ve found

Who You Say I Am

Who am I that the highest King Would welcome me
I was lost but He brought me in Oh His love for me
Oh His love for me

Who the Son sets free Oh is free indeed
I'm a child of God Yes I am

Free at last He has ransomed me His grace runs deep
