Call to Worship

Hosanna

I see the king of glory
Coming down the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes
The whole earth shakes

I see his love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing
The people sing

Hosanna Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest

I see a generation
Rising up to take their place
With selfless faith
With selfless faith

I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We’re on our knees
We’re on our knees

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like you, have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks yours
Everything I am for your kingdom’s cause
As I walk from earth into eternity

TOday's Announcements

Here are a few critical announcements to keep in mind:

  • Easter Sunday - Family Service & Egg Hunt: It's been over a year now since the pandemic struck and much of our regular rhythms were thrown out of order.  As things continue to ease in our county, we're excited to announce that Easter Sunday will be our first official in-person family service.  What better time to come back together than in celebration of the resurrection of our Lord! Whether you're just curious about Christianity or you've been walking with Jesus for a long time, we'd love to have you join us!  Find all the relevant details online here.
  • Special Announcement for Families with Kids: On Sunday April 4th, immediately following the Sunday Service, we will be hosting the 2021 IN-PERSON Easter egg hunt. The hunt will be in the enclosed playground area next to the outdoor stage we currently use for Sunday Service. This is open to all kiddos from babies to 5th grade. We want every family to feel safe and welcome at this event, so we are taking strict precautions. All people over the age of 2 will be required to wear masks. We will have the children go in small waves to make sure there is enough space to social distance properly and we will be sanitizing the play structure before as well.  For the service, families can sit at the covered picnic tables or bring a blanket, a tent, or pack-n-play to help corral the kiddos if needed. We will be providing a simple craft and activity sheets for the kiddos during the service but will not be providing any snacks. The water fountain is also off limits currently so please plan ahead. This will be our soft-launch of the First Sunday Family Service rhythm that we will be trying out during the summer. We will NOT have the online zoom during these First Sunday Family Services but will provide crafts and things for the kiddos to do during the in-person services.  Please RSVP for the Easter egg hunt here and do not hesitate to contact us with any specific questions at .
  • Covenant Membership Class - Open Registration: At the request of some in the congregation, registration for the Covenant Membership Class is now open! If you are interested in becoming a member here or simply want to re-familiarize yourself with what we’re all about, please register online here. We will leave registration open for the next couple of weeks, then we’ll pick a Sunday to hold the class (either virtually or in-person depending on the comfort level of those who register). Call to Response

1.  Sing:

Man of Sorrows

Man of sorrows, Lamb of God
By His own betrayed
The sin of man and wrath of God
Has been on Jesus laid

Silent as He stood accused
Beaten, mocked, and scorned
Bowing to the Father's will
he took a crown of thorns

Oh, that rugged cross, my salvation
Where Your love poured out over me
Now my soul cries out hallelujah
Praise and honor unto Thee

Sent of heaven, God's own Son
To purchase and redeem
And reconcile the very ones
Who nailed Him to that tree

Now my debt is paid,
it is paid in full
By the precious blood
That my Jesus spilled
Now the curse of sin
Has no hold on me
Whom the Son sets free
Oh is free indeed

See the stone is rolled away
Behold the empty tomb
Hallelujah, God be praised
He's risen from the grave

I Will Rise

There's a peace I've come to know
Though my heart and flesh may fail
There's an anchor for my soul
I can say "It is well"

Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead

And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise

There's a day that's drawing near
When this darkness breaks to light
And the shadows disappear
And my faith shall be my eyes

And I hear the voice of many angels sing,
"Worthy is the Lamb"
And I hear the cry of every longing heart,
"Worthy is the Lamb."

Mercy Hill Kids

While difficult, this pandemic does create a wonderful chance for parents to step towards their God-given call as chief disciplers of their kids.  We know this may feel overwhelming and that is why we want to help!  Parents of Mercy Hill children should have already received an email from the Director of Mercy Hill Kids, Christina Lugo, regarding ways you can utilize the Gospel Project curriculum at home.  This information has also been included on our blog here.  Beyond this, each Sunday, we are also hosting an online worship gathering for our kids.  You can check here for more details.  We'd love to have you join us!

Call to Response

1.  Sing:

Way Maker

You are here, moving in our midst
I worship You I worship You
You are here, working in this place
I worship You I worship You

You are ... Way maker, miracle worker
Promise keeper, light in the darkness
My God, that is who You are

You are here, touching every heart
I worship You, I worship You
You are here, healing every heart
I worship You, I worship You

You are here, turning lives around
I worship You, I worship You
You are here, mending every heart (what You've found)
I worship You, I worship You

That is who You are
That is who You are
That is who You are
That is who You are

Even when I don't see it, You're working
Even when I don't feel it, You're working
You never stop, You never stop working
You never stop, You never stop working

Come As You Are

Come out of sadness, From wherever you've been
Come broken hearted, Let rescue begin
Come find your mercy, Oh sinner come kneel
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal

So lay down your burdens, Lay down your shame
All who are broken, Lift up your face
Oh wanderer come home, You're not too far
So lay down your hurt, Lay down your heart,
Come as you are

There's hope for the hopeless, and all those who've strayed
Come sit at the table, Come taste of the grace
There's rest for the weary, rest that endures
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't cure

Come as you are
Come as you are
Fall in his arms
Come as you are

There's joy for the morning, Oh sinner be still
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal

Who You Say I Am

Who am I that the highest King
Would welcome me
I was lost but He brought me in
Oh His love for me
Oh His love for me

Who the Son sets free Oh is free indeed
I'm a child of God Yes I am

Free at last He has ransomed me His grace runs deep
While I was a slave to sin Jesus died for me
Yes He died for me

Who the Son sets free Oh is free indeed
I'm a child of God Yes I am
In my Father's house There's a place for me
I'm a child of God Yes I am

I am chosen Not forsaken
I am who You say I am
You are for me Not against me
I am who You say I am

Call to Worship

Beautiful

I see Your face in every sunrise
The colors of the morning are inside Your eyes
The world awakens in the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say
You're beautiful

I see Your power in the moonlit night
Where planets are in motion and galaxies are bright
We are amazed in the light of the stars
It's all proclaiming who you are
You're beautiful

I see you there hanging on a tree
You bled and then you died and then you rose again for me
Now you are sitting on Your heavenly throne
Soon we will be coming home
You're beautiful

When we arrive at eternity's shore
Where death is just a memory and tears are no more
We'll enter in as the wedding bells ring
Your bride will come together and we'll sing
You're beautiful

1.  Sing:

All I Have Is Christ

I once was lost in darkest night
Yet thought I knew the way.
The sin that promised joy and life
Had led me to the grave.

I had no hope that You would own
A rebel to Your will.
And if You had not loved me first
I would refuse You still.

But as I ran my hell-bound race
Indifferent to the cost
You looked upon my helpless state
And led me to the cross.

And I beheld God’s love displayed
You suffered in my place
You bore the wrath reserved for me
Now all I know is grace.

Hallelujah! All I have is Christ.
Hallelujah! Jesus is my life.

Now, Lord, I would be Yours alone
And live so all might see
The strength to follow Your commands
Could never come from me.

Oh Father, use my ransomed life
In any way You choose.
And let my song forever be
My only boast is You.

His Mercy Is More

What love could remember no wrongs we have done
Omniscient, all knowing, he counts not their sum
Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore
Our sins they are many, his mercy is more

Praise the Lord
His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness, new every morn
Our sins they are many, his mercy is more

What patience would wait as we constantly roam
What father, so tender, is calling us home
He welcomes the weakest, the vilest, the poor
Our sins they are many, his mercy is more

What riches of kindness he lavished on us
His blood was the payment, his life was the cost
We stood 'neath a debt we could never afford
Our sins they are many, his mercy is more
